Speaking of culture, let’s talk about PEARL—the heart and soul of BITS Hyderabad! Named after Hyderabad’s rich legacy of pearl jewelry, this fest started in 2009 as a small intra-college event but has since evolved into a nationwide spectacle. Much like the campus itself, which transformed from barren land into a breathtaking educational hub, PEARL has grown exponentially, now attracting over 10,000 attendees annually.
Over the years, PEARL has played host to some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Armaan Malik, Amit Trivedi, Nucleya, and KRSNA. The campus itself has become a sought-after destination for film shoots, with multiple movies being filmed here, adding to its cinematic legacy. It has also witnessed grand movie promotions featuring stars like Vijay Deverakonda, Nani, Mrunal Thakur, and Adivi Sesh, making PEARL not just a fest but a hotspot for glitz and glamour. PEARL is also known for its Comedy Nights, featuring some of India’s most beloved stand-up artists.
