Durga Puja celebrations come back to Sarjapura Bangalore in full splendour after 2-year Covid break

Decorated mandap, bright colours, dazzling lights and colourful Durga Puja pandal these are the scenes at Bangalore’s Sukriti Cultural Association this year, as celebrations come back in full swing after two years covid break.

After two year’s minor level celebration due to the Covid pandemic, Durga Puja 2022 is back in full swing at Sarjapura. The mandap is all decked up in vibrant colours, sparkling lights and housing thematic which are attracting a huge number of crowds.

Sukriti Cultural Association, which steps into its 7th year of Celebrations is a premier and extremely popular Bengali Cultural Association established in the DommasandraSarjapura Area and hosts the traditional Durga Puja amidst a lot of pomp and show with devotees and members coming from all nearby areas.

On the auspicious day of Maha Saptami, Central Minister Sri A Narayanswamy, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment of India kicked off the SBCA Satat Bharat Citizens Award 2022 in Bangalore followed by other Cultural programs at Sukriti Cultural Association’s Durga Puja.

Sarjapura Citizens Forum and Sukriti Cultural Associaion, as part of SBCA Awards 2022, honoured people who are doing Selfless Service in various fields since 30 to 40 years like Health, Environment, Education, Art, Culture and Tradition.
