New Delhi, [India] November 03, 2025: The Association for Reinventing School Education (ARISE), India’s apex body for private school reform has formally entered into a MOU with Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) to jointly work for the overall progress and continual improvement of the School Education Sector in India. The MOU will entail a collaborative understanding between both the organisations to work together in the areas of Policy Advocacy, Research, Knowledge Events & global engagement to enhance the quality of school education in India. The K12 School education in India is the largest in the world with over 260 million children going to around 1.5 million schools offering education in more than 50 examination boards across the length and breadth of the country. The MOU was solemnised by representatives of both institutions, Ms Jyoti Vij, Director General FICCI & Mr Vinesh Menon, Director General & CEO, ARISE in the presence of the ARISE Governing Board represented by Mr Praveen Raju, President ARISE & Founder Suchitra Academy, Mr Prabhat Jain, Immediate Past President, ARISE & Director, Pathways Schools, Dr Arunabh Singh, Sr Vice President, ARISE & Director Nehru World School & Founder, Healthy Planet, Ms Silpi Sahoo, Vice President, ARISE & Chairperson Sai International School, Mr Vardan Kabra, Vice President, ARISE & Founder, Fountainhead School & Mr Vedant Khaitan, Vice President, ARISE & Vice Chairman, The Khaitan School. FICCI was also represented by Mr Manab Majumdar, Sr Advisor & Dr Rajesh Pankaj, Director, Skills. The MOU was entered on 12th September’25 at FICCI House on the occasion of the 8th ARISE Annual School Education conference held between 11th – 13th September in New Delhi in the presence of Founders and other member schools of ARISE

School Education is passing through rapid evolution and ARISE is aptly placed to drive reforms in the sector. The MoU between FICCI and ARISE will further the resolve of the two organisations to work together to transform the education sector in the country”

With this MOU, ARISE is now truly positioned as India’s only Industry Chamber that is focussed on the K12 School education sector in collaboration with FICCI, India’s oldest and largest industry chamber body. ARISE will continue to strive to add value to the school education sector and with FICCI now formally backing it. ARISE will aim to be the most preferred body for academia, industry & government to come together for Nation Building through continuous process reforms in India’s school education aimed at making Bharat VIKSIT in in two decades from now”.
