The 7th Annual Function of Kumudini Shishu Vidya Mandir Concludes with Joy, Inspiration, and PrideGrand Celebration of the 5th Lieutenant Colonel Prabha Kumari Educational Excellence Award and the 5th Ram Yatan Singh Social Excellence Award
Patna: Dedicated to education, values, and social responsibility, Kumudini Shishu Vidya Mandir successfully organized its 7th Annual Function, along with the 5th Lieutenant Colonel Prabha Kumari Educational Excellence Award Ceremony and the 5th Ram Yatan Singh Social Excellence Award Ceremony, in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, grandeur, and inspiration. The prestigious event was organized by Kumudini Shishu Vidya Mandir with the active support of Kumudini Educational Cum Charitable Trust, Patna.
The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by a welcome song. Thereafter, students presented a vibrant series of cultural performances that filled the auditorium with energy and joy.
The Chief Guest, Lieutenant Colonel Sindhu from Military Hospital, Danapur, in her address, emphasized the importance of discipline, self-confidence, and patriotism among children in today’s times. She appreciated the efforts of the school and stated that such platforms play a vital role in nurturing the hidden talents of students.
Presiding over the function, Ms. Usha Kumari, Chairperson of Kumudini Educational Cum Charitable Trust, described education as the most powerful medium for social transformation and reaffirmed her commitment6 to the continuous development and growth of the institution.
Special Guest, Dr. Binda Singh, a renowned physician of the city, highlighted the significance of physical and mental well-being of children. She stressed that only healthy children can excel academically and in life. She urged parents to provide a positive environment, recognize their children’s interests, and encourage them accordingly, while praising the school’s efforts toward holistic development.
The event was further graced by Mr. Nitish Chandra, a well-known fashion designer of the state, who attended as a celebrity guest. He applauded the cultural performances of the students and remarked that art, fashion, and creativity give wings to self-confidence. He encouraged students to believe in their dreams and move forward with dedication and hard work.
Mr. Mrityunjay Kumar Singh, President of the Bihar Police Association, in his address, stated that discipline, honesty, and a sense of duty are the keys to success. He inspired students to become responsible citizens and appreciated the school’s meaningful contribution to society.
On this occasion, Mr. C. Shekhar and Mrs. Vibha Kumari (RNJ College, Madhubani) were present as Guests of Honour. All dignitaries praised the talent of the students and the positive academic environment of the school. The presence of other senior officers from Military Hospital, Danapur further enhanced the dignity of the ceremony.
During the award ceremony, 12 meritorious students were honored with the Lieutenant Colonel Prabha Kumari Educational Excellence Award for outstanding academic performance. Additionally, 5 inspiring personalities were felicitated with the Ram Yatan Singh Social Excellence Award for their remarkable contributions to social service. The auditorium resonated with applause during the award distribution.
The cultural performances by students remained the highlight of the event. The young performers captivated the audience through patriotic songs, folk dances, classical and modern dance presentations. Group dances showcased unity, energy, and expressive coordination, while solo performances reflected confidence and strong stage presence. Each performance received thunderous applause from the audience.
At the conclusion of the program, the school management expressed heartfelt gratitude to all guests, parents, teachers, students, and supporters. The ceremony concluded successfully with the singing of the National Anthem.
