Shriem Agarwal, an 18 years old young and growing influencer, born and brought up in Kolkata, has marked herself in the hearts of many with such young talent and the work that she puts in. Her success story truly is inspiring and motivating, and it only leaves us awestruck with how much success and recognition she has gained at such a young age.
Shriem had to face negativity and harsh comments from her fellow peers at a young age. Even when her confidence was cracked, she took it upon herself to make everyone shut. Having faced challenges at a young age brought positive changes in Shriem and she in fact became much more bold, vocal, strong and mature. When her junior college began, Shriem was given the opportunity to showcase her talent in cooking and baking at IIHM young chefs competitions. With nothing but her love for cooking, she cleared round after round and reached the semi-finals of the young chefs of IIHM. She continued to train herself under many well-known chefs and artists after that. She was also trained under the winner of master chef season 5, Kirti Bhoutika.
When coronavirus hit the world and everything went under a massive lockdown, Shriem was clueless initially as to what she should do. But, she took it upon herself and began studying online. Shriem has completed a ton of online certified courses with well-known universities like Harvard. She did a couple of courses in nutrition, diet planning and sports nutrition via udemy. She even completed her diploma in nutrition and also specialised in diet planning and is now a consultant. Shriem also completed a 2 months course in art of entertainment which included tableware, table setting, food presentation, etc from the MAPP academy Delhi. Apart from just this, she also did about 5-6 courses from Lavvone academy India, and is also certified in the set of baking and desserts. Her achievements only keep growing, and at a young age of 18, Shriem is also a published author. She began writing her first book which is also published by Notionpress and Amazon by the name of A Pinch Of Everything.
Shriem’s Instagram presence kept increasing with her achievements and she became one of the youngest, most inspiring and well-known influencers. She was featured over many pages, including being the star blogger on Karan Mehra’s page, where he would feature young and inspiring people. Shriem also took up many workshops worldwide along with fellow food bloggers. She was also awarded as the best food influencer 2020-2021 by influencerquipo and is also nominated for 30 under 30 young achievers award by Indian achievers club.
