Vijayawada, (Andhra Pradesh) [India] July 4, 2025: Demonstrating its commitment to nation-building through entrepreneurship, SK Associates & Group (SK A&G), a Tier 1 Startup Consultancy in India, has successfully mentored 50 students from the Department of Agriculture & Rural Development at Maris Stella College, Vijayawada under its flagship Student Entrepreneurs Bootcamp, conducted from March 1 to June 30, 2025.

This intensive program equipped students with the tools to launch registered MSMEs, build sustainable business models, and access government and institutional funding. These young entrepreneurs are now preparing to raise up to ₹5 Crores each through leading national funding schemes such as PMMY (Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana), SISFS (Startup India Seed Fund Scheme), and CGTMSE (Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises).

This transformative initiative was made possible under the visionary guidance of Sr. (Dr) Jasintha Quadras, Principal of Maris Stella College, and Mr. P. Shravan Kumar, Founder & CEO of SK A&G. Their joint leadership alongwith the supervision and guidance of Dr Lakshmana Swamy (HoD of Dept of Agriculture & Rural Development) & Prof. Jasmipriya K. (Professor of Agricultural Economics) has set a strong precedent for academic-industry collaboration in fostering self-reliance among youth.

Building on this success, Maris Stella College is now preparing to enroll 500 more undergraduate students from various departments into the next cohort of the Bootcamp, beginning September 1, 2025. These students will receive comprehensive startup mentorship and financial support, including facilitation for raising up to ₹5 Crores each, directly contributing to India’s vision of a robust startup ecosystem.

“We are not just mentoring startups; we are building changemakers. Our goal is to help every student entrepreneur raise meaningful capital, build scalable enterprises, and create jobs for others,” said Mr. P. Shravan Kumar, CEO of SK A&G.

“This initiative aligns perfectly with our institution’s goal of empowering women through entrepreneurship and innovation,” added Sr. (Dr) Jasintha Quadras, Principal, Maris Stella College.
