Vadodara (Gujarat) [India]: TeamLease Skills University in Vadodara, India’s pioneering Vocational Skills University, set a historic stage during its Sixth Convocation held at the university campus. This significant event showcased the presentation of degrees and diplomas to graduates and diploma holders, a moment of pride broadcasted live on Facebook.
The welcome address and University report were eloquently delivered by the Registrar, Prof H C Trivedi. Prof. Dr. Avani Umatt, the esteemed Provost, conferred degrees and diplomas, complemented by a profound keynote address. Ms. Neeti Sharma, Co-founder and President of TL Edtech, graced the occasion with an insightful convocation address, while Major Dr. Mayank Mathur, a distinguished Management Advisor and Consultant from Vadodara, added prestige as the guest of honor.
The Registrar of TeamLease Skills University, Prof H C Trivedi, warmly welcomed attendees and set the tone for the event by presenting the university report. Prof. Dr. Avani Umatt, the Provost of TeamLease Skills University, played a pivotal role in conferring degrees and diplomas to the graduants. She also delivered a compelling keynote address, emphasizing the graduates’ role as future leaders in society.
A total of 60 degrees and 22 diplomas were awarded, spanning disciplines such as finance, marketing, hospitality, tourism management, information technology, mechatronics, medical laboratory technology, and sales management. Notably, nine outstanding students were honored with the TLSU gold medal for their exceptional academic performance and overall excellence in their respective disciplines.
During her keynote address, Prof. Dr. Avani Umatt drew inspiration from the teachings of the Bhagwad Geeta, highlighting the timeless importance of continuous learning. She encouraged graduates to view education as a lifelong journey, guiding them through challenges and opportunities.
Ms. Neeti Sharma, Co-founder and President of TL Edtech, congratulated the graduates and reminded them of their privileged position as the fortunate 1% who had the opportunity to pursue higher education. Urging them to have faith in themselves, she emphasized the significance of realizing their potential and contributing to society.
