The Central Bank of India’s First All-Women Managed Branch in Surat Inaugurated by Mayor Dakshesh Mavani

The Central Bank of India has launched a new initiative to open over 90 all-women managed branches across India. The goal is to help women become self-reliant and empowered. As part of this initiative, the first all-women managed branch in Surat was inaugurated today by Mayor Dakshesh Mavani at the Althan branch.

The event was attended by the Regional Head Manish Varma, DGM Alok Chand, Chief Manager Mithlesh Kumar, Althan Branch Manager Soni Kumari, Rustampura Branch Manager Payal Patel, and other female staff members. The Central Bank of India is taking real steps towards women’s empowerment by providing them with opportunities.

Regional Head Manish Verma mentioned, “We have observed that women contribute with great dedication and hard work. This inspired us to start branches managed entirely by women, and we are committed to this initiative.”
