University to host recruitment fair for the next generation of nurses

The healthcare heroes of tomorrow will take their first steps into the world of work at a major recruitment fair hosted by the University of Dundee. Hundreds of students and graduates will be able to discuss career opportunities at this year’s Nursing Recruitment Fair, which takes place on Wednesday 5 February.

One of the largest events of its kind in Scotland, this year’s event will be held in the Bonar Hall and is open to University of Dundee students and graduates, as well as those from other universities. Alison Mackay, from the University’s Careers Service, said, “Our Nursing Recruitment Fair is an exciting event that gives both employers and prospective employees the chance to learn more about each other.

“Working in healthcare has always been a tremendously rewarding career and this event will allow many of our students and graduates the chance to learn about the opportunities available to them and decide where they want their new skills to take them.

“Our Nursing Recruitment Fair always attracts employers from across many different parts of the healthcare sector. They know that Dundee graduates are trained to an exceptionally high standard, allowing them to sell themselves to some of the sector’s best and brightest new talent.”

The University of Dundee Nursing Recruitment Fair takes place in the Bonar Hall, Park Place, on Wednesday 5 February from 11:00 – 14:00. Attendance is free but registration in advance is required.
