3. Tell us about your latest book. What can the readers expect from it and who would the book most appeal to?

R.K. Mohapatra: The First book I authored has been translated from English to Hindi with the title, “Sahi Nivesh Se Ameer Banen,” published in Sep 2021 by Prabhat Prakashan, New Delhi. I decided to translate it into Hindi so that it can be understandable by normal human beings and they can gain knowledge about finances and how to achieve their goals.

This book enables readers/ investors how to create wealth in the long term. Logical examples in different chapters are there to elucidate how investment through SIP ensures a disciplined manner regardless of the volatility of the market movement and further how it helps an investor average his cost through market cycles for creating a big corpus to achieve their goals sans taking too much risk in the long run.

My new book, “Relationship: Motley of love, trust, and emotions,” is ready for publishing on January 2023, which explores sociological, psychological, and organizational human behavior to establish good human relationships.

This book comprises eleven chapters discussing social, political, business and economic, personal, and human relationships. In this book, one can find how trust, time, and mutual faith bring happiness to human relationships.

Humans have a close bond with the natural world and its inhabitants. There is a strong relationship between “falling in love” and “living with love.” Relationships are based on places, people, events, and activities.

People occasionally need to evaluate money, location, and time relate to one another. Therefore, “relationship” varies from person to place and person to person. We can refer to it as a need-based relationship or a commercial relationship. The only reason the world exists is to foster healthy relationships based on needs. However, human relationships are created over time with a need-based framework “with money” or “without money.” The difference between “falling in love” and “living with love” may be temporary or permanent. Love your life while living a life you love. Because you want to live for the one you love, your life has a purpose and grit when you’re in love. Love improves your health, vitality, and happiness.

4. The names of your book are unique and attractive. What is the scheme of ideas that you have behind the naming of your books?

R.K. Mohapatra: All the books’ titles are based on the subject related to the book. The book “Investment Risk & Growth: A Guide for Investors about Investment Vehicles, “comprising six chapters, is a guide for investors about investment vehicles and elaborately describes the topic of financial planning for an individual, which also focuses on an investor’s perspective on handling his or her hard-earned money carefully through proper investment planning.

Retirement Planning describes the topic of retirement plans for individuals, which reflects and focuses on an individual’s retirement needs, corpus for retirement, and use of created corpus after the superannuation.

The term Mutual Funds is widely published across the world. It talks about an ideal guide for investors who are looking for a deeper understanding of mutual funds, their risk & returns, and the benefits of investing in mutual funds, which has been dedicated to the young generation for building a balanced portfolio and creating wealth in the long run.

I want to share my upcoming book, “Relationship: Motley of love, trust, and emotions,” which is quite different from other books. Human relationships are built with a need base “with money” or “without money” with time. It may be temporary or permanent between the two words “falling in love” or “living with love.”

I am trying to encompass sociological, psychological, and organizational human behavior in designing human relationships in this book. One can find how trust, time, and mutual faith bring happiness to human relationships.

This book also aims to assist readers in managing the intense stress of relationships because conflict is unavoidable in human interactions.

5. Are you a spontaneous writer or a disciplined one? Do you often write daily?

R.K. Mohapatra: Despite a hectic work schedule, I have effectively managed time to pursue my passion for writing articles in newspapers and magazines, blogs, and books on relevant financial matters on the problems and queries of the common person. Generally, I write every day from 10 pm to 11 pm after office hours; it gives me strength in mind.

6. What are your other interests apart from writing?

R.K. Mohapatra: Learning is a continuous process. Every author should have followed it. It is a never-ending process; we all should make a habit of learning. Reading multiple books, daily newspapers, research articles, google searches, and watching tv and videos is also my interest apart from writing. I also speak on financial matters and attend events and online webinars.

7. Any future projects that you are currently working on?

R.K. Mohapatra: I am working on the subject of the ” one nation, one Pension scheme.”

8. Your basic advice to budding writers.

R.K. Mohapatra: There are huge opportunities available in India and worldwide for budding writers. They must deliver a message that is both very clear and very informative about the subject. Their expertise and thorough knowledge come under a book that must be helpful to most people in society.

They need to know what their audience wants and deliver it at the right time and place on a subject they are competent in, with expertise and in-depth knowledge. They should write a simple and clear sentence explaining the book.

Write the topic where they are confident. They have a thorough knowledge, and they are the Master.

“Don’t give your audience wrong information if you are unsure. It is better to say sorry if you tell something wrong. It will create value in society. Your work, attitude, knowledge, and skill are your strength, which makes value to you.”

A self-publishing Author and budding writer should understand from the very beginning that writing is not sufficient; they should learn about selling and marketing the book.
