Institute of Public Health and Hygiene (IPHH) students united with immense enthusiasm to immerse themselves in the essence of Janmashtami, and the outcome was truly enchanting. The entire campus of the Institute of Public Health and Hygiene (IPHH) in New Delhi blossomed into a vibrant and joyful celebration, echoing the divine birth of Lord Krishna, one of the most revered incarnations of Lord Vishnu.
The courtyard became a captivating spectacle, adorned with intricate and colourful rangoli designs, while the atmosphere was saturated with the sweet scent of delectable sweets being prepared. Students, bedecked in a multitude of traditional attire, congregated with eager hearts to pay homage to this auspicious day.
The excitement was palpable as the festivities unfurled. From soul-stirring bhajans that resonated with profound spirituality to the exhilarating DahiHandi competition that had everyone on the edge of their seats, the day brimmed with indelible moments. Our budding talents graced the stage, unveiling their artistic prowess through vibrant and mesmerizing dance performances that left the audience spellbound.
Yet, the pièce de résistance of the day was undoubtedly the Janmashtami tableau. Our students invested their hearts and souls into recreating scenes from Lord Krishna’s life with unwavering dedication and limitless creativity. It was a spectacle that transported us through time, rekindling the very essence of this divine celebration.
