She says

Kathak is a completely different world that has its own structure, its own beauty, its own language.

It takes years and years to learn such a complex dance form. I’m grateful to my Dadaji and my mother because of them I’m exploring this beautiful world.

I get to live in a different era when I’m practising, I get to feel the emotions and the kind of love which used to be there earlier.

I feel very lucky that I am here, exploring this art form which is very pure and beautiful.

When I’m on stage I don’t see the audience, I don’t care about the appreciation, my ears hear the beautiful beats and lehra and I just get so indulged into it that I start playing with the music and during the bhava paksh I just enjoy portraying the feelings of this character. It is a completely different feeling which cannot be expressed in words.

She is taking online as well as offline classes.
