Asian African Chamber of Commerce & Industry Odisha Chapter is the first and only international chambers of commerce in Odisha. The AACCI Odisha foundation day was laid on 1st April 2023, on the auspicious occasion of Utkal Divas. The Odisha Chapter of AACCI was launched on the 9th of May 2023 by Honourable Governor of OdishaShri Ganeshi Lal ji, along with virtual wishes from Honourable Chief Minister of Odisha Shri Naveen Patnaik, Dr GD Singh Founder AACCI & Mr Soumya Ranjan Pattnaik Founder Sambad Group, were the esteemed guest who attended the launch event.
Under the leadership of Dr Lita Mohapatra (MBBS, MM, MM, FAM, PhD (Hon), serial entrepreneur/doctor& President of AACCI Odisha this chapter has evolved into a robust chapter within a short span of time. She states that this would inspire future leadership to invest in and cultivate economic growth across borders. The theme of the AACCI forum is to find ways to counter the slowdown that has prevailed world over due to the pandemic and explore new avenues for future growth.
Dr Lita Mohapatra as the State President envisions that this International chambers would help support, economic growth, business association, and develop new avenues of growth & opportunities in Asian & African countries and state of Odisha.
AACCI Odisha chapter core team who attended the meeting yesterday were Mr Rajendra Parida as VP, Mrs Sushmita Verma Mohantyas Joint secretary, Mr Gaurav Chawla as Secretary, , & Mr Biswajit Patra as Joint treasurer. AACCI Odisha chapter has 60 verticals, with currently 60 chairpersons & vice chairpersons onboarded.
A special meeting was organised on 24th June 2023, at The Presidency Hotel, Bhubaneswar, with presentations by committee members, Mr Pritam Nayak – Vice chairperson Fashion & Lifestyle committee, Design Director at Pritam Nayak, Mr Gaurav Agarwal, Chairperson Fine Jewellery committee, Managing Partner Agarwal Diamond Jewellers & Mrs Sumisha Mehera, Chairperson Beauty Committee, Business Partner at VLCCC institute Patia. This meeting was graced by Mr Sabyasachi Sathpathy, Founder Keembdanti & Mrs Namrata Chadha, President Madhyam as special guest
To translate that vision into reality, the founding members of AACCI set to create transnational corporations, which would have a presence in all associated member countries and whose capital would be built by nationals of all 102 prospective member countries. AACCI is now developed as a transnational chamber working in conjunction and affiliation with other National & Regional Chamber partners dedicated to spreading the support for trade, business & investment.
