MahaSeWA -Maharashtra Societies Welfare Association and Red Ant streamed the prestigious and esteemed award ceremony on January 29 at Hyatt Centric, Juhu in Mumbai.
At this grand event, Gaurav Bhatkar from The Ultimate Design was bestowed with the prestigious award.
Gaurav Bhatkar has been a fine artist for as long as 35 years. He is a passionate artist with an immense bonding towards his subject, which can sometimes shut him from the world. He has a knack for capturing one’s vision and presenting it with more grandeur and wisdom. His paintings are touted to give a 3D experience when viewed in low light.
Gaurav Bhatkar has famously painted various pieces, including – Lord Siddhivinayak’s Painting, ‘Maya’ the Tigress Queen, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s Painting. His art is patronised and appreciated by tall personalities such as,

Upon receiving the Maharashtra Ratna Puruskar, 2023 in the gold category, Gaurav Bhatkar expressed his gratitude and happiness and said, “This is years of my hard work and passion being recognised by the state and I feel extremely proud and grateful to have received this high honour, I shall continue to live up to this belief of people in me. I shall continue to make art and tell people a story that is beyond the image. As an artist, this honour is no less than a huge validation of my work and my thought process. My congratulations to the other awardees as well.”
Gaurav Bhatkar is also coming up with his very own exhibition of Shree Sidhivinayak Paintings and promises this to be a treat for everyone.
