IPHH Opens Registration for ANM and GNM Courses 2024-25

Institute of Public Health and Hygiene(IPHH), which is one of the oldest paramedical institutes in New Delhi, is now accepting registration for ANM and GNM courses for the academic year 2024-25.

The Institute of Public Health and Hygiene(IPHH), New Delhi, has initiated the registration process for the Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) courses for the academic year 2024-25. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and want to apply can now do so via the official website, iphhparamedic.in.

Institute of Public Health and Hygiene(IPHH) is a renowned autonomous teaching institution in the country, offering a wide range of allied health Undergraduate and Postgraduate certificates, diplomas, and degrees similar to those taught worldwide. Despite its humble beginnings, it has become the country’s premier and oldest institute for Paramedical and Allied Health Education, boasting a 46-year legacy of excellence. Since its establishment, the Institute has focused on providing essential healthcare skills training to empower youth, especially the underprivileged and dropouts. This approach aims to transform them into a skilled workforce, ensuring their livelihood and offering lucrative career opportunities in the healthcare industry.

Since 1984, the Institute has been designated as a Pre-Release Training Centre for the Government of India, Ministry of Defence (DGR), New Delhi. It provides training to in-service candidates nominated by the Army, Navy, and Air Force, as well as various State Governments including Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Chandigarh Administration, Ladakh Hill Council, North Eastern Hill Council, University of Delhi, Members of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, International Airport Authority of India, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Cement Corporation of India, TELCO, UNO, Sanjay Gandhi P.G.I. of Medical Sciences, RIMS Medical College, Indian Airlines, Children’s Home, Private Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Organizations, Institutions, Establishments, Northern Railway, among others.

Eligibility and Job Opportunities After ANM

Candidates aspiring to enrol in the ANM course must have completed Class 12 in the Science stream, with subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with at least 50% marks. To be admitted to the ANM course at IPHH, no entrance test or NEET score is required. After completing the ANM, students can get a chance to work with Govt/Pvt Hospitals, Old Age Homes, Defence Hospitals, Nursing Homes, etc.

Eligibility and Job Opportunities After GNM

For admission to the GNM program, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with an aggregate score of 40% or Registered ANM with passing marks. After completing the GNM course student can get a job profile of Home Nurse, Midwife, Certified Nursing Assistant, ICU Nurse, Forensic Nurse etc.
