Winters are round the corner as people have already started pulling out their blankets. While many enjoy winters by staying cozy in their heaters and blankets, there is a section of society that suffers the wrath of it as it seemingly doesn’t have the required resources to sustain the icy cold winters. Therefore, as a result many people are left helpless at the time of chilling winds passing by who generally sleep on the footpath or are either homeless.
This, it is important to provide adequate resources to these people so that they can survive the wrath of winters. On the same lines, Humanity NGO headed by Ishu Kalra has taken up the mammoth task of ensuring that no one suffers due to winters. The NGO visited various slums and shelters and distributed winter clothes and blankets to people. Ishu Kalra on the occasion said- “It feels great to contribute to society in any manner and Jalandhar where the temperature even sometimes drops to 3 degree Celsius, so we thought that helping these people before the chilling winters arrive would be the best option.” Kalra Humanity NGO remains at the forefront when it comes to helping people and the environment.
The organisation received praise for its work done at the time of COVID-19 and is often in the headlines for its philanthropic work.
