Mr. Shettar overwhelmed by “First Production Then Permission” Single Window Clearance System-Ease of Doing Business in MSME Sector in Gujarat

Gandhinagar (Gujarat): Minister of Large and Medium Scale Industries, Government of Karnataka Mr. Jagadish Shettar pays a courtesy visit to to Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupanihere in Gandhinagar.

A 13-member delegation headed by the Karnataka Minister is on a tour of Gujarat to study Gujarat’s development model, especially the entire ecosystem of the MSME sector.

Welcoming the delegation on behalf of the GoG, Mr. Rupanibriefed about the vision of the then Chief Minister and Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi that has shaped the GIFT City at Gandhinagar and world’s tallest statue at Kevadia – the Statue of Unity.Under the visionary leadership and planning of Mr. Modi Gujarat has become the Best Choice of Investment for Global Investors.

Mr. Shettarwas overwhelmed by the initiatives being taken by the State Government of “First Production Then Permission”- Single Window Clearance System- Ease of Doing Business in MSME Sector in Gujarat.  He also expressed his hope that the visit of delegation will be useful in getting in-depth information on all these areas.

Mr. Rupani detailed on the fact that Gujarat has gained control over two waves of corona by keeping the activities intact and without imposing any complete lockdown as well detailed on 2.87 crore people getting vaccinated in the state. Gujarat has prepared an action plan to counter the possible third wave, he added.

The CM also urged the delegation to visit Dholera SIR, Gift City, Statue of Unity-Sanand Industrial Estate etc.

The delegation also visited the CM Dashboard and Public Relations Center at the Chief Minister’s residence and was impressed with the real time monitoring and feedback system of the beneficiaries of various schemes.

Additional Chief Secretary of Industry Department Dr. Rajiv Kumar Gupta briefed the Karnataka Minister as well as the entire delegation on the state’s industrial development, FDI’s lead, investment opportunities in various sectors as well as the full details of the CM Dashboard.

The meeting was attended by Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief MinisterMr.Kailashnathan, Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr.Ashwani Kumar, Industry Commissioner Mr. Rahul Gupta and MD of iNDEXTb Ms. Neelam Rani.
