Hyderabad, 25th March, 2022: A one-day World of Hyatt Golf Tournament 2022, today at Boulder Hills Golf and Country Club. Over 100 golfers from Hyderabad participated in the event. The tournament witnessed some refined game from avid golfers.
Kripaniwas Sharma lifted the World of Hyatt Golf Tournament 2022 trophy with a brilliant performance by maintaining a clear edge over others with 166 points. KBN Raju came as distant second with 67 points. Gurpreet Kaur Sandhu scored 73 points and was adjudged the Best Lady Golfer. Satish Manchala with 68.8 points was declared the Best World of Hyatt Member Golfer. The Winner and Runner-up in the 0-15 H’cap were Vasu Merugu with 69 points on countback of last 9 holes and Sri Myneni with 69 points. In the 16 & above category Ravi Yerra with 168.4 points was the winner and Vikas Raj with 69 points was the Runner-up Rajiv Kapavarapu with 70 points on countback of last 3 holes was declared the 10th Place Golfer. Rakhi Sinha with 310 yards drive won in the Longest Drive Hole category. The Closest to Pin Hole was won by Murali Bukkapatnam with 110 feet 5 inches, while Straightest Drive Hole was cornered by Katrapati Vidyasagar with 6 inches. Aditya Pratap Singh Jamwal with 78 points won in the Best Gross category.
Later in the evening, the golfers were hosted by Park Hyatt Hyderabad which turns 10 this month for awards ceremony and the gala dinner. It was a grand & beverage showcase with delicacies from across Tre Forni, Rika, Mrs Mage and cocktails from Zing. Shobhit Sawhney, GM, Park Hyatt Hyderabad; Somnath Dey, GM, Hyatt Hyderabad Gachibowli and Animesh Barat, GM, Hyatt Place Hyderabad Banjara Hills were the hosts for the evening and gave away the trophies to the winners along with free stays at some of the Hyatt hotels at Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Kochi, Goa, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Mumbai and various other destinations.
