Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the Rumion Festive Edition to celebrate the ongoing festive season. This special edition is available across all trim levels, featuring a unique Toyota Genuine Accessories (TGA) package for an additional cost of ₹20,608. However, this offer is only valid at Toyota dealerships until October 31, 2024.
The Toyota Rumion, based on the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, comes in four variants: S, G, V, and S CNG, with prices ranging between ₹10.44 lakh and ₹13.73 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Festive Edition comes equipped with several stylish enhancements through the TGA package. These include a backdoor garnish, mud flaps, rear bumper garnish, and deluxe carpet mats for the right-hand drive model. Additionally, it features headlamp garnish, number plate garnish, chrome door visors, a roof edge spoiler, and body side molding with a garnish finish.
Under the hood, the Toyota Rumion is powered by a 1.5-liter K Series petrol engine, paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a torque converter automatic gearbox. The seven-seater also offers a petrol plus CNG powertrain option with a 5-speed manual transmission.
In terms of performance, the petrol-only variant delivers a maximum power of 101 bhp at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 136.8 Nm at 4,400 rpm. On CNG, the power output decreases to 86.63 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 121.5 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm. Toyota claims a mileage of 20.51 km/l for the petrol variant and 26.11 km/kg for the CNG version.
The Rumion also boasts a range of features, including a 7-inch SmartPlay Cast touchscreen audio system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The new variant comes with Toyota i-Connect, offering remote control for climate, lock/unlock, hazard lights, and other connected features. Advanced safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, hill hold, and Electronic Stability Program (ESP), among others.
