Starting his dance journey at the age of 6 years, Yashwanth was initially inspired by the Tollywood & Bollywood movies he used to watch with his family. He was captivated by the energetic and graceful movements of the actors. Over the years, Yashwanth has trained in various dance forms such as Tollywood, Hip Hop, Semi Classical, Bollywood, freestyle, Contemporary, and Jazz, among others. He has also participated in several dance competitions and been part of many tv reality dance shows along with his younger brother, both at the local and national levels, and has won numerous accolades for his performances.
After moving to Canada Yashwanth, has been making waves in the Canadian dance scene for the last seven years. His impressive talent, hard work, and dedication have led him to perform in some of the largest shows in the country. His journey to Canada began with his desire to explore new dance forms and styles. With his exceptional skills and passion for dance, Yashwanth quickly made his own dance company called “REIGN YASH DANCE ACADEMY” and made a name for himself in the Canadian dance community. Over the last five years, he & his team has performed in some of the most significant shows in Canada. Recently his team won the award for “Favourite Bollywood Dance Group” in the GTA and the award was handed over by PADMA SRI Singer Mr. “KAILASH KHER”.
Yashwanth has been a part of numerous festivals and cultural events, showcasing his talent and captivating audiences with his performances. His breathtaking dance moves and stunning choreography were a highlight in some of the events and received widespread praise from the media and the audience alike. He has also worked with several choreographers and has been choreographed for a few music videos and other media projects.
