Dr. Singh is presently serving as a lecturer in Political Science and Principal – Cum – Secretary with DDO at Baya Abadhut College,Kanimul, Tirtol, Jagatsinghpur. He is also associated with the Jatiya Kabi Bira Kishore(JKBK) Government College, Cuttack, under IGNOU, where he teaches Political Science and serves as a counsellor.
For Dr. Singh, teaching is more than a profession. It is a responsibility to shape minds, encourage questioning and inspire young people to become responsible and informed citizens. He has pursued higher education in Political Science and English Language and Literature, and has earned M.A. and M.Phil. degrees, along with LL.B. and B.Ed. degrees, from Utkal University.He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science on the research topic “The Ideas of Sri Sri Thakur Anukul Chandra on Society, State, Government and Politics,” in accordance with the new UGC guidelines of the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. He was formally conferred the Ph.D. degree at the 50th Convocation of Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, where he had the distinguished honour of receiving the Ph.D. Award from His Excellency, the Hon’ble Vice-President of India. This remarkable academic achievement stands as a testament to his scholarly dedication, intellectual pursuit, and commitment to the field of Political Science.

Beyond the classroom, Dr. Singh has nurtured a deep passion for writing and intellectual exploration. He has authored several books, reflecting his engagement with life, society, education and human values.
One of his notable works, his third book Jibana Hi Prathama Guru (Life Itself Is the First Teacher), carries a deeply personal and emotional significance. Considering his mother his first and foremost teacher in life, Dr. Singh chose to have the book formally unveiled by his mother herself. The gesture beautifully expresses his respect for the values of family, gratitude and the foundational role of a mother in shaping an individual’s life.
