P. Venkat Reddy currently serves as the National President of The Solar System Integrators Association (TSSIA) and as National Director of the World Economic Forum for Asia & Africa (WEFAA). Through these roles, he works with industry professionals, entrepreneurs, government bodies and institutions on issues related to renewable energy, infrastructure, entrepreneurship and sustainable development.

Through his leadership in companies involved in renewable energy and infrastructure, he has been associated with projects covering solar EPC, electrical systems, civil construction and industrial infrastructure. His experience includes both LT and HT electrical works, project execution, engineering coordination and infrastructure development.
His areas of involvement also include Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), Fire Hydrant Systems (FHS), heavy fabrication, HSD-related infrastructure, pump houses, civil construction, networking and landscaping. This wider exposure allows him to look at projects from an integrated perspective, where energy, electrical, civil and supporting infrastructure need to work together.
From feasibility and planning to engineering, execution and long-term operations, his approach focuses on creating practical and reliable project solutions.
Building Solar and Engineering Capabilities
As Managing Director of Red Rays Renewable Energy, P. Venkat Reddy is involved in solar EPC and development projects covering residential, commercial and industrial applications. His experience includes rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects as well as larger energy requirements.
He also serves as Executive Director of Priven Solar & Infra Pvt Ltd, where his responsibilities extend to complete solar power and infrastructure projects. These include feasibility studies, project financing, detailed engineering, EPC execution and operation and maintenance.
As Co-Founder of SHS Energies & Infra Projects, P. Venkat Reddy has been associated with integrated energy and infrastructure solutions, with experience across 1,000+ projects and more than 400 MW of solar capacity executed across residential, commercial, industrial and government sectors.
His experience covers MW-scale Solar EPC and I&C (Installation & Commissioning), solar pumping systems, solar street lighting, solar fencing, CSP-related solutions and renewable energy consultancy. Alongside solar, he has also been involved in LT and HT electrical works, Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), Fire Hydrant Systems (FHS), heavy fabrication, HSD infrastructure, pump houses, civil construction, networking and landscaping.
The combination of renewable energy and infrastructure has become an important part of his professional identity. Rather than looking at solar as an isolated technology, he believes successful projects require strong electrical systems, civil infrastructure, safety systems, fabrication and proper site development.

P. Venkat Reddy has also developed experience in electrical and industrial infrastructure, supporting projects that require multiple engineering disciplines to work together.
His work includes LT and HT electrical systems, FAS and FHS, heavy fabrication, HSD infrastructure, pump houses, civil construction, networking and landscaping. These capabilities complement his solar expertise and enable a more integrated approach to infrastructure and project execution.
Infrastructure development also involves elements that are sometimes overlooked, including internal networking, site development and landscaping. Taking Solar Skills to the Next Generation
One of P. Venkat Reddy’s most significant contributions has been in solar skill development.
He has mentored and trained more than 5,000 students and entrepreneurs, including youth, engineers and students from ITI and polytechnic backgrounds. His objective has been to help young people understand the practical requirements of the renewable energy industry and prepare themselves for employment and entrepreneurship.
He has also been invited to speak at Oxford University on renewable energy leadership. His participation in national and state-level conferences, energy summits and industry forums has further contributed to discussions around India’s clean-energy transition.
National and International Engagement
P. Venkat Reddy’s professional work extends beyond India. Through consultancy and advisory roles, he has contributed to renewable energy and infrastructure initiatives in Zimbabwe, New Zealand and Bangladesh, along with projects and industry engagement across India.
As National President of TSSIA, he represents the interests of the solar system integration and MSME community and participates in discussions involving industry development, standards, policy and capacity building.
His association with BIS energy and resources activities has also given him an opportunity to contribute to discussions around standards and quality in the energy sector.
Leadership with a Social Purpose
For P. Venkat Reddy, professional success is closely connected with social responsibility. Through his association with the Lions Club of Vanasthalipuram, District 320-H, and the Chandrashekhar Azad Foundation, he has been involved in education, skill development, health and eye camps, community service and youth empowerment.
He also promotes awareness of solar energy in rural communities and believes that the growth of the green economy can create meaningful employment opportunities for young people.
