A new chapter in early childhood education began in Kolkata as Finance Minister Dr. Swapan Dasgupta officially inaugurated Dibber International Preschool, Ballygunge on 11th July 2026, introducing one of the world’s leading Nordic early childhood education models to the city.

The inauguration ceremony commenced with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting by Dr. Swapan Dasgupta, marking the official opening of the preschool. The event was attended by educators, parents, well-wishers and distinguished guests, celebrating Dibber’s vision of nurturing young minds through a globally recognised learning philosophy.

The inaugural lamp-lighting ceremony followed in the presence of Prabhat Ranjan, Marketing Head of Dibber, along with the preschool owners Tanuj Agarwal, Aditi Nahata Agarwal, Sanjay Agarwal and Sandip Agarwal, symbolising the beginning of Dibber’s journey in Kolkata.

Following the inauguration, Dr. Swapan Dasgupta toured the classrooms and experienced the thoughtfully designed learning environment that reflects Dibber’s international standards and child-first philosophy.
