As Odisha moves rapidly towards a technology-driven future, Asrava Foundation has entered the third and final phase of its ambitious Vision 2026 Artificial Intelligence and Digital Skill Development Programme, marking an important milestone in its mission to prepare students and young people for the opportunities of the AI-powered economy.
Founded under the visionary leadership of Dr. Lita Mohapatra, MBBS, MM, FAM, Hon. Doctorate, Hon D.Litt. (Dermatology), Founder and Managing Director, ASRAVA Foundation is committed to bridging the digital divide and nurturing talent capable of contributing to the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The programme, founded on the principle that access to emerging technology should not be limited by geography, background or economic circumstances, has been designed to introduce students to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, generative AI, digital productivity tools and future-oriented skills. Through partnerships with educational institutions and youth-focused programmes, Asrava Foundation has been working to create greater awareness and practical exposure to technologies that are transforming education, employment, entrepreneurship and industry.
The Phase 3 initiation represents the final and crucial stage towards achieving the Foundation’s Vision 2026 target of training 1,100 students across Odisha in Artificial Intelligence and related digital skills. Having already created significant momentum through the earlier phases, the Foundation is now focused on expanding its reach, strengthening practical learning and ensuring that students are able to move beyond basic awareness towards meaningful application of AI.
A key objective of Phase 3 is to make AI education more accessible and application-oriented. Students will be encouraged to understand how AI can be used not only in technology careers, but also across healthcare, education, business, entrepreneurship, agriculture, creative industries, research and social innovation.
Supporting the Foundation’s vision is Ms. Leisha Mahapatra, Creative Director of ASRAVA Foundation, whose leadership in communication, program design, and youth engagement has significantly enhanced the initiative’s reach and impact. Through innovative awareness campaigns, creative learning experiences, and digital engagement strategies, she has helped make advanced technologies more accessible and relatable to students from diverse educational and social backgrounds.
The initiative also places particular emphasis on creating opportunities for women and young people. Asrava Foundation believes that building an inclusive digital ecosystem requires ensuring that students from diverse academic backgrounds and communities have the opportunity to participate in the AI revolution.
The occasion assumes special significance with Dr. Lita Mohapatra, Founder of Asrava Foundation, presenting a special memento to Hon’ble Governor of Odisha Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati.
