Mumbai, Maharashtra, [India]: A painter by passion, an engineer by profession, and an entrepreneur by vision, Mansi Kathuria’s life journey has mainly been driven by her sheer values characterized by the flavour of art and travel. An engineering graduate from Delhi, Mansi’s painting journey started at tender age of 20.
She was accoladed with a Certificate of excellence from the World Book of Records London and her paintings were exhibited in Germany and India. She recently also won a National prize in the painting competition. Her other accolades include Dhruv Ratan Awards and Oppus Awards of Talent in Painting. Her work has also been exhibited in online galleries in India.
She expresses that Painting helps her to create, connect and communicate the unsaid. Painting can be a hugely cathartic experience, allowing you to access feelings buried deep within your subconscious mind. By learning to better express yourself, through the medium of art, painting can be an act of self-care that supports your emotional wellbeing. Talking about her journey about abstract painting, it allows its creator to freely communicate visually without the constraint of forms found in objective reality.
Apart from being a painter, Mansi is an entrepreneur. Her entrepreneurial journey started 3 years ago when she ventured into AIRBNB. Her keen interest in traveling made her explore US, UK, Asia, Europe, and Rome. She has been awarded as the super host for the last 3 years by AIRBNB. Interest in cooking, meeting new people, and traveling made her starting her journey as an AIRBNB blogger. Till date, she has given workshops on cooking and shared travel experiences with fellow travellers from many countries.
Visualization led to perfection creating scope for editing. She has edited many short and feature films. Her penchant for digital art also grew and she is currently working for many big brands in India for communication through designs.
She credits her parents for all the support that they have provided in her life. My parents should be the role model on how to raise a girl child in India.
By creating a new understanding of life and existence, art can be a social vehicle that shifts perceptions and changes in society.
