Social Activist Harsh Tiwari distributes 1 lakh sarees to women healthcare frontline workers in Madhya Pradesh

Jabalpur, (Madhya Pradesh) [India] 21st September 2021: This COVID-19 pandemic has hit the entire society but most affected by it were the people from poor strata who had to even fend for basics. This is when some good Samaritans came forward to help them in the time of crisis. Harsh Tiwari, young visionary and activist who is also the son of Madhya Pradesh MLA Indu Tiwari, was a saviour for such people in Madhya Pradesh.

To express his gratitude for the work the healthcare workers did for the society, recently on the occasion of Hon. PM Narendra Modi’s birthday, Harsh also distributed 1 lakh sarees to women healthcare frontline workers in Madhya Pradesh in order to thank them and recognize their efforts.

“I have actively dedicated all my efforts to help people in the state and surroundings overcome this pandemic which has adversely affected all strata of the society. The impact we have faced is going to be long drawn out especially in places like these where development is slower compared to other cities and so are the opportunities of growth for people. In times, like thesein whatever way we can help people, we have been prompt in doing so”, said Harsh Tiwari.

Recognizing the right to Education as an important constitutional right of every child, but the sudden unforeseen COVID-19 pandemic affected this basic constitutional right especially for poor children who lacked the means to continue their education during this time. To ensure their education is not affected further in future, he has provided 15 android phone to teachers and students and donated 15 laptops to government schools where both teachers and students can easily avail the benefit and continue with their education.

He has also been in the forefront by distributing 20,000 COVID- kits free of cost were distributed to people to arrest the spread of the virus. Apart from this he has generously donated Rs. 2 lakh in Jabalpur’s Barely Rogi Kalyan Samiti to keep a check on the spread of COVID-19 virus in the area.

Harsh, along with his family have led and supported various initiatives for the underprivileged in the state of Madhya Pradesh and have devoted their efforts to continually help them even during the COVID- 19 pandemic.
